Yolanda is an admitted advocate of the High Court and an accredited CCMA Commissioner. She is also appointed as a conciliator and arbitrator for several bargaining councils in both the public and private sectors. Yolanda has specialised in the field of labour/employment law and alternative dispute resolution for the past 30 years and has been intricately involved with the development and management of dispute resolution and dispute prevention initiatives in a wide range of sectors.
Whilst employed by the PSCBC, she held numerous presentations and training workshops on labour related issues for bargaining councils, delivered papers at conferences, and did presentations for international state delegates from various countries.
Yolanda was also part of the initial SETA panel that drafted the unit standards for the Labour Relations Officer and Commissioner learnerships. She has trained practitioners nationally and works across both public and private sectors to help organisations build internal IR capacity and reduce preventable disputes.
