NT Mzila

Thandi Mzila is an admitted attorney with a career spanning over 20 years in Employee Relations (ER) in the private sector. She has sat on several forums, including the Commission for Conciliation Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA), the Education Labour Relations Council (ELRC), and the National Bargaining Council for the Chemical Industry (NBCCI).      

She has worked in various industries, including Financial Services, Retail, and Chemicals with as a senior executive in the field of Human Resources. In her last role, she was HR Executive responsible for human resources strategic alignment with organisational goals, fostering sustainable growth and organisational resilience. As a consultant, she has advised companies in the Chemical Trading, IT and Construction, Manufacturing and Medical supply industries on Employee Relations.

Thandi is trained as a mediator and is accredited with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR – UK) and the International Mediation Institute (IMI). She holds a B.Proc degree from the University of the Free State and currently studying towards her LLM with Unisa.
