Sarah Christie is a judge on the appeals boards of the European Space Agency (ESA) and EUMETSAT Appeals Board (European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites). She is a former judge on the Administrative Tribunals of the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the appeal board of the European Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasts.
Sarah is an attorney (not practising), arbitrator, mediator and trainer in employment law and dispute resolution practice and an associate of the Institute of Development and Labour Law at the University of Cape Town where she occasionally teaches. She is a Senior Commissioner at the CCMA and a member of various dispute resolution panels in the private and public sectors.
She has consulted to the International Monetary Fund, the World Health Organisation, the United Nations and the EBRD on their internal justice and dispute resolution systems.
