Rohini is a seasoned commissioner with over 20 years experience in presiding over matters. She was employed as a full time CCMA commissioner as of November 1997.She was a full time Senior Commissioner from April 2012 to August 2017 when she became a part-time senior commissioner. Part of her functions as a full time senior commissioner included vetting awards, reviews, enforcement and allocations. She was also the taxation officer for the KwaZulu Natal office of the CCMA. 

Rohini is also CCMA trained to hear Employment Equity Act and s198 disputes.

Prior to joining the CCMA, Rohini was an attorney.
