Ramatobane is a sole proprietor of Maodi Attorneys, a law firm that was established 01 June 1999. He is an admitted and practicing Attorney, Notary and Conveyancer of the High Court of South Africa. 

He is a Part-Time Commissioner at the CCMA Pretoria and various bargaining councils such as National Bargaining Council for the Road Freight Industry, Safety and Security Sectoral Bargaining Council and South African Local Government Bargaining Council.  

He serves as a member of Mediation and Disciplinary committee of the Legal Practice Council. 

He served as a Board Member of Odi Community Hospital, Local Committee Member in Tshwane Gauteng Liquor Board, Chairperson of the Investigating Committee at Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB). 

He is a candidate Valuer registered with the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession (SACPVP).
