Nasreen Jajbhay is a part-time CCMA commissioner, bargaining council panellist and an attorney practising in the field of employment law and ADR.
Nareen obtained her LLB degree and a postgraduate certificate in the labour dispute resolution programme (LRDP) from the University of the Witwatersrand. She chairs workplace enquiries such as disciplinary, grievance and appeal hearings, conciliates and arbitrates disputes, facilitates small-scale retrenchments, provides training and facilitates relationship building.
Nasreen was appointed to programme direct two prestigious CCMA conferences, has presented at case law monitors and was featured on a live episode of ITV’s legal ease segment where she discussed strikes and collective bargaining.
Nasreen was named Mail and Guardian’s Top 200 Young South Africans 2021 and was awarded recipient of the Women of Wonder award in 2023.
