Nadine Fourie

Nadine Fourie is a mediator and qualified lawyer with 20 years’ litigation experience in labour, regulatory and commercial disputes. She is an Advocate of the High Court registered with the Legal Practice Council and is a member of PABASA, focusing on dispute resolution.

Nadine previously held appointments as a Ministerial Special Adviser, Acting Judge in the Labour Court and High Court of which several of her judgments are reported, and Constitutional Court clerk.

She was trained in understanding-based mediation through the Programme on Negotiation at Harvard Law School & Harvard Negotiation Institute and is a commercial mediator accredited by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) in the UK, the Africa Centre for Dispute Settlement and Conflict Dynamics. She is trained in Strategic Negotiation Skills and Workplace Mediation. Nadine is an executive and conflict coach.

She completed the Professional Business Coaching Programme at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), University of Pretoria. She holds a BComm LLB from Stellenbosch University and an LLM (Public Law) (with distinction) from the University of Essex.
