MzondiProfile

Mzondi Job Molapo is an Advocate of the High Court and a member of the Institute of Directors of the Southern Africa. He has been a Commissioner of the CCMA at Rustenburg, North West since 2007.

Mzondi for three years also served as a State Prosecutor for the National Prosecuting Authority under the Department of Justice in Pretoria before he was admitted as an Advocate in the year 2000. He has been practising mainly as a litigating labour law counsel since admission to date.

Following his departure from UNISA in 2007, Mzondi chose to focus on dispute resolution, where he built a career as an accredited arbitrator, mediator and conciliator. Mzondi continues to be an accredited part-time CCMA Commissioner and served and still serves as a panellist at several bargaining councils.

Mzondi initiated, investigated, and presided in high profile disciplinary matters both in the public and private sectors. He has dealt with over 400 disputes, including those he handled in a representative capacity. His experience includes handling professional ethics hearings in committees of enquiry, labour participation and management of discipline in the workplace, Mzondi has chaired disciplinary hearings at professional bodies in enquiry committees.

Mzondi serves as Chairperson of the Disciplinary Committees at National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC), Estate Agency Affairs Board (EEAB) for almost six years and has been a panellist for the Professional Conduct Committee at the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) since 2008.
