With a background in High Court Commercial Litigation, Michelle is both an attorney and a passionate advocate of alternative dispute resolution. 

She has conducted her own boutique law practice since 2015, specialising in commercial, contractual and employment law, with a client base that is comprised of both local and international corporations. 
She represents clients at Court or other fora, and is a proponent of mediation.

In addition to her LLB degree (Stellenbosch University), Michelle completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Labour Law (NMU) and graduated summa cum laude in 2015. 

Parallel to her role as an attorney, Michelle also presides as a Part-Time Commissioner at the CCMA and MIBCO, including S189A facilitations and the arbitration of complex matters.

Beyond her endeavours in the field of law, Michelle enjoys various creative pursuits and has authored and illustrated a children’s book. Despite relocating to Gqeberha in 2017, she remains an active supporter of the Iziko Lobomi Community Centre, situated in her hometown of Hout Bay, Cape Town.
