Maud is an advocate with over fifteen years of experience in the healthcare, medical, insurance and construction industries. She has experience providing legal advice on complex, international and cross-border transactions and interactions. She represents clients in court and tribunals. She is a commercial, medical and Health Law Mediator at the University of Cape Town.
Maud has published various articles on medical negligence and, has presented at several events, and is a standing speaker for associations and events. She has also trained on personal injury and public liability law.
She was previously legal counsel for an insurance company. She set out programmes that addressed multi-faceted legal developments in private law, competition law, intellectual property law, national credit law, consumer law and medical and health law. She provided advice and recommendations on claims and quantification, provided expert opinions, liaised with outside attorneys, and led broker relations.
