Lungile runs a human capital service business.
She is a part-time Commissioner at the CCMA, Johannesburg Regional Office. She also is a part-time Panellist at the following Bargaining Councils: Statutory Bargaining Council for Printing, Media & Packaging Industries, The Bargaining Council for the Restaurant, Catering & Allied Foods and Metal & Engineering Bargaining Council (MEIBC).
Lungile has facilitated Labour Relations training sessions for various companies in both the public and private sectors. The labour relations training sessions focused on understanding the Labour Relations Act, imparting skills on how to initiate and chair disciplinary hearings and CCMA processes. She has also initiated and chaired disciplinary hearings at all occupational levels including at an executive level.
Lungile currently serves as a non-Executive director at Sodexo Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd and an external chairperson of the employees’ trust fund since March 2018. Lungile in an appointed Non-Executive Director at Gautrain Management Agency since January 2021. She is the Chairperson of the Human Capital and Remunerations committee and sits on the Social Ethics committee of the Gautrain Management Agency (GMA). Furthermore, in June 2021, Lungile was appointed as a Deputy Chairperson of the GMA. She has recently been appointed as the Deputy Chairperson of the South African National Energy Development Institute (SANEDI) Board effective January 2022. She is also appointed as the Chairperson of the Human Capital & Remuneration and Social Ethics Committee effective January 2022.
