John Mashika is a practising attorney with Mashika Attorneys in Pretoria. He is also an accredited commercial mediator and arbitrator. John specialises in labour and employment law. He is an accredited part-time CCMA Commissioner and serves as a panellist on various public and private sector bargaining councils.

With more than 15 years of experience in commercial litigation under his belt, John also has a track record of working for a large insurance company and served as Legal Administrative Officer and Manager Employee Relations in the public service where he held the position of Assistant Director.

He was also a Senior Industrial Relations Advisor and a Labour Relations Specialist with Edcon. John has a special interest in presiding over complex employment matters including fraud and diversity matters.
