Ingrid is a Tokiso panellist and is practising and training exclusively in the field of labour law and the management of industrial relations. She has been involved, at the most advanced level in industrial dispute resolution and prevention, specifically as an Acting Judge in the Labour Court and Senior Convening Commissioner (Gauteng Province) of the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA).

As an independent labour mediator, arbitrator and trainer since 1990, Ingrid has been exposed to, been engaged in and trained CCMA and bargaining council commissioners, union officials and private and public sector managers and shop stewards on arbitration, mediation, conciliation, facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution, collective bargaining and employment equity issues. She also trains private and public sector managers and shop stewards on other aspects of labour law and practice including how to prepare, participate in and chair disciplinary and performance enquiries. In recognition of her contribution to labour law and dispute resolution in South Africa, she has been elected to the positions of President and Vice President of the South African Society of Labour Law (SASLAW) (Gauteng Province and National Committee respectively) by her peers. Ingrid’s awards and judgments have been published in South Africa’s two major labour law journals and her articles have been published in three of South Africa’s most popular industrial relations publications. She is the author of the Lexis Nexis On-line Practical Guidance Labour – Public Sector and the updating author of their Practice Guidance Labour – Private Sector products.
