Inbam Pillay is a Labour Law consultant, accredited mediator, arbitrator, and leadership coach with a career spanning academia, legal practice, corporate human resources, and management consulting. This diverse background enables her to facilitate complex workplace challenges effectively, with a particular focus on conflict resolution and team cohesion. 

A non-practising attorney, Inbam holds a Master’s degree in Labour Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution. She is certified as a Lumina Spark Leadership Coach and is accredited by leading institutions, including the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa (AFSA), CEDR (UK), SAAM, and Social Justice South Africa. Her qualifications underpin a practical, sustainable approach to conflict resolution and leadership development. 

With extensive experience in strategic people management, Inbam has led large-scale organisational transformation projects, particularly in unionised environments. She has negotiated multi-union wage and collective agreements and developed collaborative engagement strategies during periods of restructuring, retrenchment, and employment condition changes. Her work supports leadership alignment and employee participation through well-designed change management and leadership effectiveness initiatives. 

Known for her confident, engaging presence, Inbam works across all organisational levels, including highly unionised workplaces. She takes a collaborative approach to conflict, aiming to empower parties to reach durable, constructive outcomes. A skilled facilitator and trainer, she also lectures at recognised business schools and serves as a trusted labour law advisor and chairperson for clients across diverse sectors.
