Inbam Pillay is a Labour Law consultant, accredited mediator, arbitrator, and leadership coach with a career spanning academia, legal practice, corporate human resources, and management consulting. This diverse background enables her to facilitate complex workplace challenges effectively, with a particular focus on conflict resolution and team cohesion.
A non-practising attorney, Inbam holds a Master’s degree in Labour Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution. She is certified as a Lumina Spark Leadership Coach and is accredited by leading institutions, including the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa (AFSA), CEDR (UK), SAAM, and Social Justice South Africa. With extensive experience in strategic people management, Inbam has led large-scale organisational transformation projects, particularly in unionised environments. She has negotiated multi-union wage and collective agreements and developed collaborative engagement strategies during periods of restructuring, retrenchment, and employment condition changes. Her work supports leadership alignment and employee participation through well-designed change management and leadership effectiveness initiatives.
