Hlalele Molotsi SC is an Advocate of the High Court and senior counsel, member of the Pretoria Bar and a CCMA accredited commissioner. He was previously a Convening Senior Commissioner of the CCMA for seven years. In January 2017 he acted as a judge in the Labour Court.
He is knowledgeable in private dispute resolution, investigations and verification and balloting exercises. He was in 2019 appointed as the chief verification officer for the verification exercise at Sibanye Stillwater.
In 2005 Hlalele was appointed to act as the Convening Senior Commissioner of the CCMA North West region and later in 2007 he was ultimately identified to take the role of Convening Senior Commissioner of the Free State region. He held this position for several years before being promoted to be the Convening Senior Commissioner of the Tshwane CCMA region in 2012. Hlalele has played an active role in various management committees of the CCMA. He was a member of the CCMA Management Negotiation Team responsible for negotiating terms and Conditions of employment with the CCMA Staff and the Chairperson of the CCMA National Employment Equity Committee.
His current practice includes employment, general commercial litigation, Road Accident Fund litigation and insurance matters.
In 2024, Hlalele acted in the Labour Court for a term.
