Hesti has 20 years of forensic investigation experience. Currently a director of Rubix Forensics (Pty) Ltd and a Tokiso Panellist

She completed her accounting and auditing clerkship with KPMG in Bloemfontein from 1999 to 2001, gaining experience across a wide range of clients in various industries, including mining, manufacturing, retail services, insurance and the public sector. She obtained two years of experience from 2002 to 2003, working in various financial service entities in London. This includes private banks where she was a financial manager responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts and fulfilling the responsibilities of a financial manager. She also worked as a financial accountant at Visa International and British Bankers Association.

Hesti conducted forensic accounting investigations with Accountants @ Law from 2004 to 2007, covering a wide spectrum of fraud investigations, litigation support, dispute resolution and investigative accounting. She re-joined Accountants @ Law in 2011 as a senior consultant.

Hesti joined Ernst & Young in 2007. She was a Senior Manager in the Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services (FIDS) practice of Ernst & Young in Johannesburg.
