Dida specialises in labour law and has deep understanding of both statutory and private processes, including conciliations, mediations and arbitrations. He is a skilled facilitator and has experience chairing disciplinary, grievance and performance hearings.

Dida is an accredited part-time commissioner of the CCMA and conducts processes for the SALGBC and MEIBC. He is also on the panel of mediators at the Department of Justice and Correctional Services as Court Mediator, and a member of the South African Board of People Practice (SABPP). He has experience in organisational rights and section 198 cases, and in facilitating stakeholder forums.
