Alta Reynolds serves as panellist on public and private sector bargaining councils and for Tokiso. She has experience in chairing disciplinary hearings and hearings specifically relating to harassment, and is active in peace promotion initiatives.
Previously, Alta was a Level 1 Commissioner with the CCMA from its inception in 1996 to 1999 and then served as a part-time Level A Commissioner until 2017. Before joining the CCMA, she was Secretary of the Industrial Council for the Building Industry Port Natal in Durban and worked in positions covering a broad spectrum of human resources and industrial relations for various local and multinational organisations in the corporate sector. This experience equipped her with grounded knowledge about conditions of employment, benefit schemes and remuneration systems.
Alta operates from De Rust near Oudtshoorn in the Southern Cape and provides services in Cape Town, George, the Garden Route, Klein Karoo and Greater Karoo regions. She is available to travel.
