Minette van der Merwe is a labour law specialist, currently practicing as part-time Commissioner at the CCMA and various bargaining councils. 

She is well experienced in arbitrations, mediations and conciliations, advisory awards and section 188A inquiry by arbitrator matters. She is a Specialist Commissioner in organisational rights as well as a Specialist Commissioner in mutual interest mediations, accredited as such by the CCMA. 

Minette has more than 15 years’ experience in disciplinary hearings in the workplace. Further, Minette lectures on a part-time basis at the University of the Free State in ADR. She is also involved in the Post-graduate Diploma in Labour Law, and is a Facilitator to Candidate Commissioners. 

Minette is also a qualified trainer, assessor and moderator, and is thus fully qualified to train, asses and moderate on all accredited material. 

Minette is based in Bloemfontein and travels throughout Free State for work. She is available nationally to assist in labour-related matters.
