Cahil is a practising attorney with over five year’s legal experience within the corporate environment ranging from regulatory law, corporate governance and compliance and related disputes, as well as forensic and auditing experience within small, medium, and large government entities.
Cahil has been appointed as the legal counsel for various medium to large corporate entities who sought to correct and/or develop their regulatory compliance as well as strengthen their corporate governance measures within a relatively short space of time. Cahil also assists small entities in registering their companies and in establishing regulatory compliance through implementation of appropriate policy and procedure.
His experience in forensic investigations includes more than fifteen forensic investigations conducted which involved financial transactions and/or whistle blowing complaints, in the excess of R100 million (One Hundred Million Rand) and as such has proven an incomparable resource within the forensic industry, with many of his investigations being completed within exceptional timelines.

* Testimony before court in relation to various forensic investigations he conducted.
* Provision of various opinions on issues surrounding compliance and corporate governance matters.
* Appearances in various lower courts such as the District and Regional Magistrate Courts as well as various other courts such as the Land Claims Court and other Forums such as the CCMA and Rental Housing Tribunal.
* Negotiations of commercial contracts between corporate entities varying in size, involving the procurement of goods and services between parties based in South Africa and beyond
